FALL-WINTER 2026 COLLECTION
BY ANTONIN TRON
Every Maison is built on foundations, and for his debut collection, Antonin Tron returns to Balmain's 1945 origins, reawakening the archive as a living, breathing present. The Creative Director champions the founder's couture tailoring - a body-enhancing, architectural vision of the female form filtered through structural clarity and modern restraint. Luxury is reimagined through ease, presence, and total liberation of movement, set against a cinematic landscape that shifts from film noir shadows into a light-filled new era.
The Pilot Jacket
The opening look of the show introduces an authentic emblem of agency and independence. Rooted in the 1975 uniform Pierre Balmain designed for Air France's first female aviator, the Pilot Jacket balances structured authority with everyday wereability. Raglan shoulder pads and voluminous sleeves frame a waist-fitted construction that stages a powerful dialogue between definition and motion. Worn open, it delivers effortless daytime precision; fully closed, it transforms into a sharper, bolder city stance. Throughout the season, the jacket will also be introduced in a range of additional fabrics, including cavallino, wool twill, shearling and denim.
DRAPING
Antonin Tron places the relaxed elegance of the flou at the heart of his aesthetic, reinterpreting the House's draping techniques from the early 1950s. This approach unfolds a vibrant language where fabrics adapt naturally to the body rather than constricting it. Softness becomes a statement of strength, dynamism, and sensuality through asymmetrical lines, controlled gathering, and deliberate slashes that reveal and conceal with poise. Across the collection, this code is expressed through a diverse range of product categories - from dresses and skirts to tops and leather pieces - each designed to move between daywear and evening occasions.
The Sphynx Bag
A signature statement of sculptural elegance, the Sphynx bag stands at the heart of the silhouette - not as an afterthought, but as a defining element of the look. It takes inspiration from the Sphinge dress from Pierre Balmain's Fall-Winter 1977 collection, evoking the mythological symbol of strength, protection, and mystery. Crafted in Italy from ultra-supple Nappa leather, its hourglass contour is cinched by a tubular golden metal belt that echoes the Maison's iconic silhouettes. The style is available in the mini and medium sizes, designed to be worn in hand, on the shoulder, or crossbody.
EVENING GLAMOUR
The night belongs to an edgier, deeply instinctive allure measured by restraint and refinement. Drawing emotional depth from the dark elegance of film noir heroines, the evening wardrobe celebrates meticulous execution of texture, transparency, and enigmatic presence. Fluid, body-sculpting silhouettes move between natural draping, deep décolletés, and built-in lingerie elements, rendered in smooth jersey, liquid silk, and dense velvet with luminous finishes. The collection encompasses a wide range of shapes and fabrics - midi length dresses, floor-length gowns, jersey constructions, richly textured jacquard and velvet - addressing different styles and scenarios.
Power Blouses
A masterclass in tailored volume, power blouses bring an ornate version of delicacy and minimalism to the modern wardrobe. Crafted from silk charmeuse, the single-panel designs feature integrated wrapping and dramatic bows to build light, weightless structure. With floating sleeves, sinuous drape, and side-knot details, they are at once versatile and artful, translating runway intensity into real-life rhythm. They are envisioned to accompany the modern woman morning to night, from office sophistication to evening elegance.
